About the artist

Salma Mahgoub

Salma Mahgoub started off as a Ballerina at the Cairo Opera House Talent Development Centre, and then dedicated herself to singing. She has been taking vocal classes with the famous Egyptian Soprano, Dr. Neveen Allouba since 2010. She is a member of, the Musical Theater Company, Fabrica. She also took part in Fabrica’s Arabic version of the famous musical “Les Miserables”. In 2012 she traveled to India and took a two-week course in Contemporary dance, Bollywood dance, and Kathak, along with Indian Classical Voice training in Passion Institute for Music and Dance. In 2014, she traveled to the USA to improve her dance techniques and performance level in Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz dance by joining an intensive dance summer course in the Brighton Ballet Theater’s “School of Russian Ballet” in New York. In the same year she was also casted as one of the singing and dancing Ensembles members in the famous Egyptian Musical, done by Fabrica, “El Leila El Kebira”. In 2015, she started studying Voice with Dr. Neveen Allouba in the Cairo Conservatory, Academy of Arts. In Fall 2016, she traveled to Los Angeles for a 2-month Dance course at “Millennium Dance Complex”, and for taking weekly vocal classes with Dr. Patrick Newell. Since her return, she took part in a lot of big events with Fabrica, including The Gouna Film Festival. She also started taking vocal classes with the well-known Vocal Coach, Sherif El Dabaa. Now she performs in different venues in Egypt, including 3elbet Alwan and Magnolia Leaves of Art. Her dream is to study Pop Music and Performance abroad and become a worldwide well-known Singer.
