Announcement of the [SAKIA GRAFFITI WALLS COMPETITION] Competition
El Sawy Culturewheel announces the opening of registration for graffiti artists (as individuals and teams of no more than five members) to design and execute artistic works on large spaces inside the Culturewheel, in a free artistic experience aimed at transforming walls and ceilings into vibrant canvases full of life and creativity.
ParticipationTerms:
• Participation is open to artists as individuals and teams from students and graduates of art colleges and institutes.
• Each team may submit one or more ideas for the different spaces (the designs must be original creations of the group or accompanied by the designer’s approval for presentation in accordance with intellectual property rules).
• The works must be suitable for the cultural and artistic character of the Culturewheel.
• Various Graffiti styles may be used.
• Each participant will receive photos and dimensions of the spaces available for competition.
• After receiving participant profiles, preliminary design proposals, and details of previous experience (if any), a specialized artistic committee will select the works whose creators will be invited to execute them.
What Does the Culturewheel Provide?
• All winners will receive cash prizes upon completing the execution within the period agreed upon with the Culturewheel management, according to the quality of execution, using paints and tools provided by the Culturewheel.
• The Culturewheel provides suitable lighting, ladders, and scaffolding during the execution periods.
Important Instructions:
• Participants and visitors must adhere to safety instructions to ensure everyone’s well-being, God willing.
• During the execution period, participants may make limited modifications to the designs with prior written approval from the Culturewheel management.
• Artists are committed to maintaining the venue and keeping it clean during execution.
• The team must adhere to the specified working schedules to maintain event timings and ensure the comfort of the audience within the venue.
