El Sakia documentary films competition

Documentary Cinema entails the documentation of a certain event or person with the purpose of archiving a historic occurrence, to reflect on said occurrence or for study and research related reasons 

Entry Fee:

50 LE

Conditions:

•     
•  Subscription is open to individuals, as well as profit and nonprofit organizations
•    
• Participating films are presented on CDs "DVD + CD"
•    
•  Production years count from the beginning of the year preceding the festival
•    
•  The work submitted should not have been submitted in previous Sakia festivals

Paperwork:

* Subscription form (available in Al-Sakia and on its website)

* Introduction of the director & showcasing their most important works of art

* A short teaser of the film and some pictures to view on CD.

Awards:

Long Documentary Films (20 - 45) minutes:

* Award for best film worth 3000 LE in addition to the statue of the Golden Festival

*Jury Award worth 1500 LE in addition to the statue of the silver festival

Second: short films less than 20 minutes:

* Award for best film worth 3000 LE in addition to the statue of the Golden Festival

* Jury Award worth 1500 LE in addition to the statue of the silver festival
