‘’To be-a or not to be-a
The project ‘’to be-a or not to be-a’’ is an environmental campaign which basic belief is that environmental issues are bound to the future. So, nobody can ruin the environment and thereby the future because the people who have to live in this environment are our children and grandchildren. This campaign aims at raising the awareness among people of the environmental issues that are really important for the human welfare and preserving a sustainable environment for kids throughout studying and listing all the environmental issues found in Egypt, then implementing campaigns in order to realize such conditions to come up with suitable means of overcoming these problems. Thus we establish better understanding of the connection between environment and human prosperity, higher awareness and capacity for environmental management among the government, the private sector and civil society in addition to helping Egyptians realize that Egypt is part and parcel of the entire world so they should do their best to save the environment.
Culture Wheel was able to show famous people saving the environment in order to create role models for the community, organize events to show people the knowhow by which environment and natural world work in harmony and the negative consequences of their actions on surroundings, inform Egyptians, especially the youth, about the current environment problems of our planet, create school programs for kids to help them love the environment, eventually, organize several environmental days in Culture Wheel in order to help people be responsive towards the environment.
Various distinctive environmental days took place in Culture Wheel, in which school pupils as well as adults took part and lectures were given to them on how to face environmental problems, also program packages for schools were completed in Culture wheel. Their main goal was to orientate small children to apply environment protection in their everyday life e.g. recycling lessons were available. Our partners in this environmental campaign are the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs and all concerned NGO’s dedicated to fulfill our vision of this campaign.
