Dr. Radwa Walid Specialist psychiatrist. She graduated from faculty of medicine Ain Shams University and got her master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry from it. Her master’s degree focus was on ADHD, borderline and substance use in females. As therapy is a process of working towards empowerment, acceptance and change. A harmonized approach that gives attention to your body, your emotions, your thoughts, your psychological process and your spirit is the one she believes in most. In her practice she integrate different techniques of psychotherapy, pharmacology and somatic work based on what’s needed with non-judgmental stance, attuned compassionate presence to help her clients in their individualized unique journey. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (trained at Beck Institute - USA), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (trained at Linehan Institute - USA), Couple Therapy (Emotion Focused Therapy), EMDR (Trauma Aid - UK) and Dynamic Therapy. She is also advanced somatic experiencing student, an approach that focuses on trauma healing through empowering the wisdom of the body and the healing power of the nervous system. She works with adults and adolescents of all sexual orientations suffering from complex trauma, developmental trauma, attachment trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, grief and borderline personality disorder helping them to start their healing path into a life worth living and reach their goals of a balanced meaningful life. She also gives consultations to individuals and couples struggling with relationship issues, intimacy, and sexual concerns and challenges.
